Carol Schultheiss In Cavallini
A selection of nine pieces from the 'Along the River' series mounted and framed together. One of my lyrical pieces inspired by nature.
Watercolors on paper worked into with silver ink.
Framed size-111cmX64cm.
'Untitled' (Volcanic)
First water, now fire.
Another image suggested by nature and her elements. This work on watercolor paper is created in oil stick, crayon and watercolor. Areas of delicate colorings are overlaid with the strong texture and grittiness of the volcanoes.
Framed size-29cmX20.5cm
'Untitled' (Garden)
A bright springtime watercolor done in a friend's Verona, Italy garden provides an air of freshness and joy.
Available unframed.
Size-36cmX26cm.
'Gold Whisps'
A flowing abstract that takes inspiration from movement in nature. Golden foil elements catch the light and reflecting it along the surface, creating more movement and depth to the layers. It's not unlke sunlight reflecting on the surface of a stream.
Size-63.5cmX43.5cm
'Red Circle Number Two'
is part of an ongoing series developed around a red circle. This piece was conceived while in Singapore and New York. It was then executed in Italy.
It is a watercolor with some touches of other materials.
Size-22cmX30cm.
A blue 'Angel Launching Blessings'
as streams of gold.
A mixed media work on paper.
